Car rental at Rome Ciampino Airport

So rare to find a no nonsense car rental like this, booked in person and the staff were super friendly and helpful Edit: went again this week and it was just as great, thanks guys

Fiat Panda for 2 days 108€ + 100 € deposit Everything was clearly explained, the car was in perfect condition and no extra charges were charged.

Smooth service at pick-up, smooth and fast return. Staff informative, but not too pushy about the additional insurance, which I really appreciated. Got a car which I paid for and it served me well. Deposit released 5 days after return. Would reuse Autovia/Ecovia any time without hesitation.

Only 3 star. Service on airport was fast and competent. All information clear. But the parking is horrible during rain. There is no possibility to reach the car without wet shoes. Car itself quite new of course a lot of scratches etc but it is rental car. However inside car was dirty and that bad smell inside. That is a bit not fair because in regulation is information that you should drop off the car clear inside and outsiade :]

Very well laid out, with indoor pick for car transportation. However, there was a last minute change to our platform number (which is apparently very common) and directions to the other platform were not well marked. We bitterly had to run down 2 levels, some areas of stairs & BARELY made our train to Florence. You have to watch the monitors constantly for last minute announcements!

Everything was ok with Autovia Bologna Train Station. From online booking via email two days in advance to car delivery and return. A very nice young girl helped us in the office and everything went quickly. We got a car upgrade from the reserved category. Everything well done. Pick up and drop off is at a garage a few blocks away and is also quick. The deposit was released 1 day after returning the car. I recommend renting from Autovia.

Very good car rental experience with Ecovia. As always booked the cheapest option with no additional insurance (I always have my own car excess insurance). No push from the staff to buy any additional services, additional insurance or anything. Very friendly staff with good english so me not speaking italian was not a problem. The car pickup and drop off process was very quick, since we arrived late at night we were even allowed to take photo...

We are really pleased with the service. Very efficient,kind and they even upgraded us! I noticed in the waiting room people were rude to some of the workers, I want to outline that these guys are doing there best and to always be kind! Highly reccomend Autovia/ Ecovia car rentals.

If you are in any sort of a hurry , forget it. .they don’t like the English and will make you wait while they chat and smile with the Italian customers … the car is great and great value , but they don’t like the English . Leave ALOT OF TIME , to collect and especially to drop off .

We arrived at Autovia Brindisi airport and it was a smooth and seamless experience. We had a situation with one of our drivers and was scared we wouldn’t be able to get our car because of it. However, they handled the situation so well and was able to arrange something for us that worked out perfectly. Davide was absolutely wonderful and so helpful, he was a star! We recommend :)

This was a very clean train station as is most of the train stations in Italy. On time and very large inside to get through. They have Uber pick ups on one side of the terminal.

Our best experience with car rental in Europe! The service was quick, attentive and very friendly. The lady at the desk even went with us to show us how to get to the car, as we just arrived to town. The car was clean and well maintained. I will surely use their service in the future.

I must admit, I was a little scared when I saw the opinions about a long block of EUR 500 on the card - I returned the car on May 29 and there was still a block on my card, I wrote an e-mail and I was immediately sent an invoice /confirmation that the block had been removed. I checked today - the blockage has been removed from the card. As for the service - very polite both when picking up the car and returning it - the formalities were reall...

I had a good experience overall. The car comes with a list of all present damages (all the little scratches). Luckily I didn t scratch the car further, so they returned my deposit, but I imagine they are very rigorous. They gave me the car with a half a tank of gas, so it is hard to return it exactly like that.
